SA2 Worldsync & 1 SYNC - Combined strengths

Towards a worldwide one-to-many platform

Nihat Arkan

Dear SA2 Worldsync Community,

We have some exciting news to share, if you have not yet heard. On May 8, GS1 US and GS1 Germany announced a planned joint venture between 1SYNC and SA2 Worldsync that would combine the two organizations.

For SA2 Worldsync, this means business as usual until the closing of the due diligence process, which should be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2012. The combination with 1SYNC gives us a chance to frame a new company that is best suited to become the leading global provider of product data management technologies and value-driven services, as measured by adoption and usage.
I strongly believe that this union presents a tremendous opportunity to move faster toward our customer`s needs across all industries!

The vision of the new company is to be the trusted global source of authentic, enriched data to more efficiently and completely manage B2B and B2C product information. And together, 1SYNC and SA2 Worldsync can move faster toward establishing a technology platform that provides an authentic, trusted source of product data shared with “one-to-many” efficiency. Together, both organizations will advance the original premise of data synchronization for a new paradigm of data aggregation - giving consumers accurate product information to make more informed buying decisions.

We look forward to our new future together as we continually provide more consumer-friendly services based on trusted global data.

Nihat Arkan
CEO SA2 Worldsync
